The Kentucky Derby is a highlight for me. I always try to watch it on television. I grew up taking riding lessons and always loved horses. Derby Day wouldn’t be complete without fancy hats and mint juleps.
I’ve never been to Louisville to watch the Derby live.We were invited to a friend’s house and all the women and the men wore hats. It really was more about being together than it was the horses. But that is what friend’s do.
