Fare together

I come from a long line of good cooks. My maternal great grandmother and grandmother made a name for themselves in a small Louisiana town when their son/brother served during WWII. My mother learned at their sides as I learned at hers.  My mother was a military wife and often took cooking classes abroad to sharpen her skills. She was 82 years old when she published her first cookbook! I spent my entire life cooking for my family so I find it refreshing to have met a man who loves to cook as much as I do. The best part, he cooks for me!

I was raised by a single mom and short order cook. I always had great interest in food and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I could act on those interest by reading magazines and cookbooks. I have a incredible love of food and cooking and then ~ I meet Jezebel.
